Re-homing chicks

Re-homing chicks

We believe every chick deserves a warm and nurturing environment where they can thrive. Once your classroom or nursery hatching experience comes to an end, we make sure your newly hatched friends are re-homed with suitable local farms or loving owners—perhaps even someone like you!

Many teachers and staff have fallen in love with chicken keeping after their hatching experience and chosen to keep the chicks themselves. If you’d like to do the same, all we ask is that you take on all the chicks. It’s important to note that while male chicks are sociable when young, they can become less so as they grow older. However, they still deserve a good quality of life.

All of the chicks returned to us are re-homed on a farm in the Lancashire countryside, with acres of space to roam. Some will stay on the farm, while others may be re-homed to vetted owners in smaller groups.
